Search for the Star in a Million is a television program in ABS-CBN. The shows premise is almost the same to that of American Idol, although the format is derived from GMA's Search for a Star and ASAP Mania's Star in a Million segment.

Star in a Million

Star In A Million is a singing contest on ABS-CBN in the Philippines. Started on 2003, the search has already produced some of the country's singing talents such as Erik Santos, Frenchie Dy, Christian Bautista, and Sheryn Regis. The grand champion will be given a contract with Star Records and a hosting stint on ASAP Mania.

Search for the Star in a Million is a reality singing competition produced by ABS-CBN and Viva Entertainment and being aired over ABS-CBN Channel 2. The second season is now finished and had Kris Lawrence as its Grand Champion.

Winthrop Street (IRT Nostrand Avenue Line station)

The Winthrop Street New York Subway station in Brooklyn has standard mosaics and old signs to the Downstate Medical Center. It has no cross over or cross under. The southbound fare control is ten steps up from the platform while northbound fare control is at platform level. Mosaic directional signs to Winthrop Street also exist northbound.

The station opened August 23, 1920.

James Tibbits Willmore

James Tibbits Willmore (1800-1863), English line engraver, was born at Bristnal's End, Handsworth, near Birmingham, in September of 1800.

At the age of fourteen Willmore was apprenticed to William Radcliffe, a Birmingham engraver, and in 1823 he went to London and was employed for three years by Charles Heath. He was afterwards engaged upon the plates of Brockedon's Passes of the Alps and Turner's England and Wales. He engraved after Chalon, Leitch, Stan-field, Landseer, Eastlake, Creswick and Ansdell, and especially after Turner, from whose Alnwick Castle by Moonlight, The Old Temeraire, Mercury and Argus, Ancient Rome, and the subjects of the rivers of France, he executed many admirable plates. He was elected an associate engraver of the Royal Academy in 1843. He died on the 12th of March 1863.

The Great Seal of the State of New Jersey includes:

A shield with three plows emblazoned, representative of New Jersey's agricultural tradition.
A forward-facing knight's helmet.
A horse's head as the crest of the helmet.
The female figures Liberty and Ceres, representative of the state's motto (see next item). Liberty is holding a staff supporting a "liberty cap"; Ceres is holding a overflowing cornucopia.
The streamer at the foot of the emblem contains the State Motto of New Jersey, "Liberty and Prosperity", and the year of statehood, 1776.

It was originally designed by Pierre Eugene du Simitiere in 1777.

The seal is the central motif in the flag of New Jersey.

Snakes and Ladders / The Best of Faces was an October 1976 best-of album by the British rock group Faces, an attempt to collect all of the popular songs from the group that had disbanded the previous year. Featuring photography by Tom Wright and cover art by guitarist Ron Wood, it was superseded by the far superior Good Boys... When They're Asleep in 1999.

The selections are biased in favor of Rod Stewart's lead vocals, with only one track featuring Ron Wood on vocals, and none featuring Ronnie Lane, the group's secondary vocalist, who sang on several tracks on each of the group's four studio albums.
